Welcome to Choices! Our part-time courses for adults.
CHOICES is Cardiff University’s programme of part-time courses for the general public.
There are a wide range of subjects to choose from and every year thousands of people join us to study for a qualification, to improve their CV, to meet new people or to fulfil their passion to learn.
Don’t just take it from us, our students are our best ambassadors.
Here are two of their comments about CHOICES courses and Continuing and Professional Education:
“I always felt that I was in the right place to pursue my dream. Everyone in Continuing & Professional education, from tutors to administrators, are dedicated to their job and give constant student support”
“The courses are a great environment for anyone looking to expand their knowledge or just to be around like-minded people interested in the same things”
You can expect to be stimulated and challenged and, on most courses, earn credits toward a qualification from Cardiff University.
These credits are also transferable into the requirements of other universities.
If you have studied with us before then CHOICES may look the same but, if you look closely, you’ll see that all the language courses are now listed under a new section on Modern Languages.
The programme, the quality of teaching and the learning environment will continue to provide you with a unique experience of language learning at Cardiff. However, this aspect of the CHOICES offering is now run by the new School of Modern Languages.
With so many courses on offer I know it can be difficult to choose but, whether you are thinking of taking your first course, continuing with your studies, or tempted by one of the Pathways for Progression onto a degree I very much hope you will study with us.
