Learning can enhance your life in so many ways, as it allows you to:
- Improve your CV and career prospects
- Make friends with like-minded people
- Broaden your knowledge of a subject and keep your brain active
- Progress onto a degree scheme in History or Social Science
Cardiff University’s Centre for Lifelong Learning is perfectly placed to help you. Our Choices programme provides over 500 part-time courses in a variety of subjects ensuring you find the right course at a convenient time. Don’t worry if you haven’t studied for a while, our courses are taught in a friendly and relaxed setting by tutors specially trained in adult learning. If you would like to progress onto a degree, find out more about our pathways in History and Social Science.
Our Widening Access team organise activities that encourage and support people who have the ability, motivation and potential to succeed at university, but who may not have considered it an option in life.
Cardiff Centre for Lifelong Learning provides expertise in course accreditation, validation and delivery. We also offer help with course administration and marketing. We have also recently developed a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Toolkit for Cardiff University Schools.
